A Redemption Story

Another peaceful day in Brapelille; another dead Code violator.

A precocious young miner asked the leaders of highsec (i.e. New Order Agents) why they kill miners.

It was getting late, but Agent Pestario Vargas decided to tell the miners of Brapelille a bedtime story.

Pestario's tale was enlightening. The impressionable miners in the ice field had no idea that every Agent has a past, an origin story.

Some miners interrupted the story, as children are wont to do.

Like all of us, Pestario faced a turning point in his life. We are, each of us, brought to a fork in the road and made to choose.

Pestario chose wisely. Every Agent of the New Order's good deeds are etched into the history of EVE.

Truly, the Agents of the New Order are an inspiration to us all. Be all that you can be: Bump, gank, or otherwise punish Code-violating miners today!

  1. A truly inspiring and heart-warming tale, thanks to you Pestario Vargas for sharing that in local, and to you James for posting it to share with the rest of us.

    1. P.S. Look for me to be donating some money into shares in the New Order in the future.

  2. Interesting story, let me translate.

I was a griefer flipping cans, I had no friends in Eve.

Then I found the New Order who taught me how to become a better griefer and move up in the world to learn how to be a Cyber Bully. Now I have lots of Cyber Bully friends.

With friends like yours who needs enemys?

    1. So ... PvP in a PvP game is now Cyber-bullying?

For you next trick, will you try to level a character on a World of Warcraft PvP server, and report enemy faction players for ganking your ass?

Carebear loser. This is a PvP game. CCP has some advice for you.

    2. Spi, you really need to take a chill pill about PVP, if CCP didn't want any in highsec, they wouldn't have even given the option. The only other advice I can give you is if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, and don't let the door hit ya' where the Good Lord split ya'.

*Bonus* 10 points to anyone who can identify the show where I got the last part of my advice from.

    3. The real cyber bullies are the miners like Spionkop & my proof is the hundreds of chatlogs available on eve-live of miners threatening anyone who interrupts their activities with threats of real life physical harm & verbal abuse.

Many miners are bad people, you don't want to be a bad person. Join the New Order today!

    4. They do make it easy to make logical arguments against their case.
