Fifty-Four Billion in Shares Sold

Today we have an unusual update. We've passed multiple milestones in single updates before, but the last 48 hours have seen a rush of new share purchases from several people. That means more than one person gets special recognition today; I hope no one minds sharing.

First, a Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™ goes to Mort ach, whose purchase of 675 million isk worth of shares put us over the 51 billion mark. Next up is Derrek Katelo, who purchased 2,000 shares shortly afterward, putting us past the 52 and 53 billion marks. Derrek earns a coveted Double Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™ for his efforts. And finally, Echo Belly purchased 100 shares and put us over the 54 billion mark. A Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™ goes to Echo.

Whew!

But the story's not quite over. I'd like to recognize another new shareholder, whose purchase of 671 shares nearly put us over the 54 billion mark prior to Echo's purchase:

Zechrabah's heartfelt contribution of 671,743,612.58 isk is deeply moving. It's a peculiar amount--could he have actually cleared out his wallet? If so, Zechrabah's sacrifice is a worthy penance for Code violations of the past. Your new life begins today. The 671 million is also strikingly close to Mort's 675 million, but that's just a coincidence. Anyway, while Zechrabah didn't put us over a billion isk mark, he nevertheless earns a Supreme Protector's Nod of Recognition™ for his fiscal valour today.

Congratulations to everyone!

  1. I too am moved by Zechabrah's tale of redemption. I hope to see him in fleet. Zech should have no trouble, as the New Order is generous enough to outfit anyone who genuinely wishes to fight for high sec!

  3. That is an astounding story of repentance.

I might add that my good friend Mort ach has been selflessly working for some time to donate 50 catalysts with t2 fittings to the cause, and it wasn't until last minute that I suggested he request shares, so I would like to offer him an unprecedented Particular Point of the Pig™ for alruistic service of the Code. Also, I'm still offering 100 mil for my dear friend's frozen corpse.

  4. Zechrabah is just an idiot, nothing more. Who the fuck would in their right minds give even 0.01 ISK to someone else without getting something in return?
