Carebear Don't Care, Part 4

Previously, on MinerBumping... Despite owning a mining permit, Aeryn Hanaya of dontcare Corporation didn't care enough about the Code. Inevitably, her lack of concern led to numerous Code violations--and numerous ganks. In the space of about 90 minutes, she lost three exhumers in separate ganks.
Aeryn Hanaya > nice
Slutzilla > Kill: Aeryn Hanaya (Mackinaw) third time lucky.
Aeryn Hanaya > nice
Aeryn Hanaya > you just broke every CODE :) nice
Aeryn Hanaya > i like it
Like many miners, Aeryn tried to pretend that the ganks were rolling off of her like water off a duck's back.
Larsulrik Napsterbane > Aeryn Hanaya no we didnt!
Aeryn Hanaya > next time read before sigh ;)
Larsulrik Napsterbane > lol you sound like you havnt read it!
Aeryn Hanaya > actualy you broke several points
Aeryn Hanaya > and it will be reported
After the third gank, Aeryn broke. The solution for dealing with a stubborn miner is to keep on ganking them until their condition improves.
Larsulrik Napsterbane > such as?
Aeryn Hanaya > YOU want me to explayne ???? are you a member of the CODE or what ?
Larsulrik Napsterbane > um no I am not a member of CODE.
Aeryn Hanaya > as i see yes
Miners have always had difficulty dealing with Agents of the New Order who aren't in the mighty CODE. alliance; for some reason it bothers them. Then again, miners are triggered when they see members of CODE., too.
Larsulrik Napsterbane > and I say we broke nothing of the Code....
Aeryn Hanaya > yup
Aeryn Hanaya > ahhaha you did :)
Larsulrik Napsterbane > ahhaha we didnt! ;)
Aeryn Hanaya > odnt be just child
Aeryn Hanaya > read !!!!
With three dead exhumers and a blingy pod loss, Aeryn had been set back a billion and a half isk. That's a lot of lost time for someone whose EVE career consists of mining solo in highsec a couple hours a day.
Aeryn Hanaya > http://www.minerbumping.com/
Aeryn Hanaya > this is it
Larsulrik Napsterbane > I know the Code
Karma Bad > as a friendly diplomat, ill step in, so whats the problem tonight?
Aeryn Hanaya > and next time try to learn something
The miner insisted that the gankers had violated the Code. She was wrong, of course. But on the bright side, she was making her case to the MinerBumping channel, so at least she was guaranteed a fair-minded audience.
Aeryn Hanaya > i stoped using augmented
Aeryn Hanaya > i stoped using hulk
Larsulrik Napsterbane > didnt start using tank
Aeryn Hanaya > ?
Aeryn Hanaya > my last ship got tank
Aeryn Hanaya > how much tank do you expect from a miner ship
Aeryn Hanaya > like a titan tank ?
Aeryn confessed that her two previous exhumers might have been a bit on the bot-aspirant side. Her fully tanked Mackinaw was in perfect compliance, though.

...Or maybe not.
Larsulrik Napsterbane > Adaptive Invulnerability Field I
Larsulrik Napsterbane > you call that tank?
Aeryn Hanaya > you that was my spare ship form years ago
Larsulrik Napsterbane > even years ago that was not a real tank.
Aeryn Hanaya > ahahahahaha
"It wasn't tanked, but it was an old ship." That's a new excuse! Sorry, but the Code does not have a "grandfather clause".
Aeryn Hanaya > lets think
Aeryn Hanaya > you dont need me to use augmented because of poor playetrs .. the complayn about im using tech 1
Aeryn Hanaya > nice
Aeryn Hanaya > read !!!!!
Aeryn Hanaya > u stupid child
The Code does, however, require miners to be respectful to our Agents.
Aeryn Hanaya > i dont care loosing a shiip or 10
Larsulrik Napsterbane > it sounds like you care....
Aeryn Hanaya > im goting upset because stupid ppl like you got accept in big corpos and stuff
Larsulrik Napsterbane > big corpos?
SWAGGZENEGGER > lmao this convo still going
As a member of dontcare Corporation, Aeryn had indeed been complacent about important things like the Code. Alas, the ganks revealed that she only truly cared about isk. Aeryn cared more about money than the Code. What the heck?!
Aeryn Hanaya > organisations :)
Aeryn Hanaya > there shoud be IQ test
Aeryn Hanaya > and you will fail it with -340 IQ
Larsulrik Napsterbane > Lars Asteroid Police is not a big corpo.....
Aeryn Hanaya > CODE is !!!
Larsulrik Napsterbane > Aeryn Hanaya I never applied to CODE.
Moreover, Aeryn was jealous of those who have been accepted into CODE. At least that part was understandable.
Aeryn Hanaya > "For James 315 and the New Order! It was an honor to be a ganking Concord Martyr in the struggle against Bot Aspirancy! http://www.minerbumping.com/"
Aeryn Hanaya > what os this ?
Aeryn Hanaya > then
Larsulrik Napsterbane > my bio. there was no application involved.
Aeryn Hanaya > remove it !!! at ones
Despite all of her fuming and pouting in the MinerBumping channel, Aeryn's hoped-for reimbursement isk seemed to be drifting ever further from her grasp. Could anyone come up with a diplomatic solution that would satisfy all parties?

To be continued...

Yes, keep on mining. Jamey and his chode. slaves really are irrelevant to the vast, vast majority of EO denizens. Whatever ganks they do perpetrate are just the cost of doing business in high sec.

    1. Did CHODEanon even read the article? Aeryn Hanaya already tried ignoring the Code and is down three Exhumers as a direct result. That's roughly equivalent to 3 weeks of mining in full time shifts. ag logic.

No really, if you do it right and have enough resources at your disposal.

    3. Miner, that sounds like being only 10 million isk away from full compliance. The dontcare fellows got nowhere near.

    4. Please miners, listen to Chodeanon. Mine away, we need more targets!

  2. Carebears often conflate the CODEdot alliance and the New Order of Highsec. The New Order is the meta movement created by James 315 that claims Highsec and sells mining permits to the people who want to live there. Anybody can join the New Order simply by declaring support for the Code and ganking stuff. The CODEdot alliance was also created by James 315, made for Knights who wanted to benefit from certain in-game mechanics such as wardecs. CODEdot membership is entirely optional; it is a strict subset of the New Order.

    1. *Raises hand*

Professor, who is kalila meng, the original creator of our Alliance? The alt of The Saviour himself? Or one of the many canonical Prophets dating from the early expansion era of our history?

    2. Alt 00 I'm afraid information is outside my knowledge. I had never heard of this person until today.

Records indicate that CODE. was created by kalila meng of New Order Administrative Services which referenced http://www.halaimacode.com (defunct and unarchived). Without a doubt she was a loyal supporter and I would be interested to learn more as well.

    3. Interesting. I wonder if there are any specialist scholars within The New Order who may be able to offer further insight.

Records show Kalia's final resting place to be in the Kamio system - a former frontier settlement and front-line of the emerging Alliance.

    4. Is anyone actually interested in the history of our alliance?

    5. I for one am fascinated by the our alliance's ancient and rich history. So many lessons can be gleaned from it, enough to set a knight on a path where he or she cannot fail.

    6. "CODE., one of the few alliances whose name is identical to its alliance ticker, is not run by me. It is the brainchild of Aria Stane and admiral root, who were already having fun wardeccing people with the Zantiu-Braun Alliance. They decided to create an alliance with the New Order "brand", if you will, on the theory that it would help attract incoming wardecs. Receiving wardecs is better than issuing them since it's free, and the aggressors can't call in allies.

I was happy to have New Order Logistics join their alliance and hopefully contribute some infamy. The corp's inclusion in the alliance does not actually change anything about the way we operate; since Knights are at -5.0 anyway, wardecs don't matter to us. Nor are there any security issues, since we still use our regular channels of communication.

I asked admiral root for some information about CODE. to assist them in their recruitment efforts. Unlike the New Order itself, which is more universal in its aims, CODE. will use a traditional model of recruitment, and will be based around highsec wardecs.

Their corporation in the alliance is Tolerancia Nihilum. They have not yet finalized the minimum requirements for admission, but have a list of four contacts, if anyone is interested in joining: Aria Stane, admiral root, thadyus, and eleq trizi't."

I would presume Kalila Meng is an alt of one of the four listed names.

    8. Most intriguing!

We should host a Q&A evening with Professor Lawton in Hek - I'm sure the locals there would love to hear more about our rich and colourful history.

  3. Many of the HalaimaCode.com posts were archived... AdmiralRoot gave us enough time to save them...

But they were not ancient history....
