It's Not the Ship, It's the Man

When you see a mining barge show up on a killboard, you know some elite PvP went down. But you probably wouldn't expect this:

Agent Perlo Tissant reported the actions of a gank fleet filled with Ventures. At last, a reason for mining frigates to be in highsec!

Our hero filmed one of the ganks and uploaded it to YouTube for your viewing pleasure:

Caution: This video is likely to trigger miners who don't like gankers multiboxing.

In fact, every mining ship in EVE is a ship that can "shoot back". If you're a miner and you consider yourself defenseless, you're doing it wrong.

  1. No window layering? If you haven't tried it, it's a lot better then fitting them on your screen like that.

  2. Marvellous! I remember seeing this killmail when Karmafleet visited Hek. It's lovely to see the Ventures being put to proper and correct use. Miners should pause to reflect on this.

  3. Multiboxing is against the spirit of the game and should be banned.

    2. Oops, that's every miner's hauling alt banned. And their market alt banned. And the "elite PVP alt in nullsec" can get biomassed too.

Seems a good way to cull Eve's carebears.

  7. So if using multiple guns don't work use multiple ships, one man on one computer running multiple accounts, might as well be botting I would call this a fail. Code is practically botting now.

  9. As expected this blog has returned to compliance, however we must remain vigilant so as that no one continues to break any of the laws that govern the internet and blogging.

We thank you for your cooperation and your compliance James 315.

  11. Test of Valour. Prove you are not afraid to die by Coding a valuable ship, and do so in a manner that demonstrates integrity and honesty.

Test of Wisdom. Correctly answer the almighty Lord Shasta’s questions three. Each question must be answered within 20 seconds. The Questions Three will be different for each code monkey each day.

Test of Fortitude. Walk a mile in the miners shoes by becoming a miner. You must continue to mine for an indefinite period of time.

  15. We Highsec citizens should stop what we are doing and think deeply with respect about Karmafleet for a moment.

The massive backbone of the powerful Imperium Coalition isn't too preoccupied with their righteous crusade out in null, they also manage to dedicate pilots and other lesser resources to share their passion and invaluable knowledge with the masses! I can't think of a group that does more for the education of new pilots - regardless of where they live.

Such valiant and economic repurposing of these shameful, disgusting vessels is just icing on the cake - but what a genious one!

    Great kudos to Karmafleet!
