As many of you know, EVE has introduced its new free-to-play feature with the Ascension expansion. To celebrate the exciting new opportunities that come with this feature, a contest has been organized by Agent Mildron Klinker, CEO of The Conference Elite (a member corp of the mighty CODE. alliance).

The event begins with the Ascension expansion (now!) and will run until December 31, 2016.
You don't need to be a member of CODE. to participate. The contest has lots of prizes that can be won in contests for newly minted "Alpha" (free-to-play) characters and veteran ("Omega") characters. Everybody wins!
Since Alphas can't directly compete with Omegas, they'll have separate contests with different prizes. Alphas will try to get as many and as expensive kills as they can, while the Omegas will focus on killing characters created between November 15 and December 31. (For the latter, please note that all of CCP's rules about ganking in rookie systems, etc. still apply.)
