Over One Trillion One Hundred Eighty Billion in Shares Sold

Some great news out of the economic world today...

No, that would be fake news.

There it is!

We had several new shareholders joining up this past week, but it's the next one that earns the headline:

A lot of universities take money from the public; I like this arrangement much better. The Lawton School for Pubbies Who Can't Mine Good purchased 3,000 shares of New Order stock to enrich the community. This took us past the 1,178, 1,179, and 1,180 billion isk marks and earned the School a Triple Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™.

The School has been in the news quite a bit lately--and for the best of reasons.

By ganking Code violators, the School teaches pubbies how to mine good. Hopefully they wanna learn to do other stuff good, too. Our Agents are always ready to help carebears expand their horizons!

For miners who prefer to learn things without losing tons of isk in the process, learning by example is a much cheaper method. Helpfully, the School makes plenty of valuable reading material available at its website.

  1. He's all heart, is Prof. Lawton. That's why the miners and carebears love him so. Eventually..

Great work Lawrence, and great generosity!

    1. Grammar is not your strong point.

  5. So here's a question:

If ag are the "good guys" and CODE the "meanies", why does the vast majority of real EVE subscribers support the Code?

    Before you say otherwise:

Compare how much ISK has been donated to the New Order under the donor's actual names and with complete transparency, as compared to the hisalt militia's "confidential" donors and nonexistent treasury balance?

If each ISK were a ballot cast, it would seem the ag folks have been thoroughly trounced.

The message is clear. There is nothing for ag to do at this point but pack up and leave for something slower, and softer. (and take those alpha leeches with them)

    1. Excellent rhetoric. The vast majority of subscribers understand that EVE is a PvP game where anybody can be shot anywhere, and that is why they play.

All of the major alliances benefit from the work The New Order puts in to training the recruiting pool, so it's no surprise at all that our treasury is flush with donations.

    2. By your own admission "always outnumbered" the majority of Eve is not sided with the code. Not even subscription holders.

    3. The ammount of donations flowing into the New Order would suggest that a lot of people think highsec miners need more education. Much more than the ammount of people who support ag. ISK talks and bullshit (ag) walks.

It's maybe ironic how the greediest among us choose the least profitable activities, while the rest of us are showered in ISK and all we want to do with it is help highsec, by removing the violent criminals.

That's why the Code will always win. Always! (The document, you ignorant carebears, not the alliance, although CODE. does seem to be running at 98ish% win so...)

It's time you hisalt miner ag shitters got with the program. You are starting to act like terrorists, trying to suppress freedom and democracy.

    4. The HSM has a little over 100 Bil ISK in their coffers.

But like all bad miners they are very unwilling to spend any of it on their own goals. Instead they treat every donation like it's the last donation they will ever see.

The end result is a dozen active members, only half of which are motivated to do anything. Spectacular saves happening less and less, causing fewer and fewer people to join or be motivated to try, and even fewer donations come in.

A downward spiral, the end game for the HSM at this rate is Thomas, by himself, with a large pile of ISK.

    5. Democracy, rather the idea of it as a democratic republic, is the people electing officials, not officials electing themselves.

    6. Freedom is the idea of being able to do as one wishes with no one controlling them. Your statement is counterproductive to the goals of the new order, by which one is not free to do as they please they must register with the order and obey the laws of the order. Hence freedom is regulated and not truly there.

Your blog here would also maintain that these criminals are not violent but merely foul mouthed and lacking in the understanding of violence, hence the orders' need to educate them on how to defend against violence IE: attacks and ganks.

    7. "Always outnumbered" refers to n gankers vs. n CONCORD + 1 target.

    8. I wrote my first commentary on why CODE. is good for EVE. I know, I suck at writing.

  6. I wish the Lawton School much success, but I think the problem with trying to school miners is that most of them are already dropouts. All of them seem to have major learning disabilities.

Or maybe I'm reading it wrong, and the Lawton School will function similar to West Point, training the new generation of military leaders (Agents) for the highsec wars.

Good luck Professor LL, maybe you will reach some of them, although I am not sure any carebear can truly learn how to EVE. If they could, why be miners?

    Oh and,

Are there any scholarships available? I only ask because I know of a ghetto alpha leech that needs some higher education and a permit, but seems to be unable to pay her own way. (No subscription)

    ;)

  8. Just remember kids, don't AFK mine, have a good defensive fit on your mining ship, and you do not need a permit to mine in highsec space. Even a civvie miner on a crappy frig will do if you are new.....or flat out broke.

  9. What a great school! With the Code as it's foundation and with such a great faculty it already outshines EVE-U and The Center for Advanced Studies!

    Great work professor!
