Expanding Operations and a Call to Suppliers

The New Order has been consuming non-compliant miners' ships and implants at an extraordinary rate. Well over 100 billion isk of property formerly belonging to Code violators has been evaporated. As we continue to do this good work for the people of highsec, we'll also continue to consume our own Catalysts and fittings.

The purpose of this post is to let potential suppliers know what kind of fittings we're using, and to tell them about the next stations in Gallente space to which we will be expanding. I say "expand" rather than "move", because they're very close to Brapelille. I intend to enable our Knights to operate out of three systems simultaneously, so we can exercise control over more ice fields. If successful, this will serve as a blueprint for future campaigns.

If you'd like to build/acquire stuff and move it (or arrange for it to be moved), take heed: The following is a list of our basic tech I Catalyst's modules:

Catalyst
8 x Light Neutron Blaster I
2 x Sensor Booster I
3 x Magnetic Field Stabilizer I
1 x Small Hybrid Collision Accelerator I
1 x Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I
2 x Scan Resolution Script
150 x Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S

The ammunition can be substituted with Federation Navy Antimatter Charge S, where cheaper. In addition, some of our Knights use a Warp Scrambler I instead of Sensor Booster(s).

There you have it. If you want to supply us, use that as your guide. In addition, if you're able to build or acquire tech II stuff, I'll give you a list of what we use for that, as well. Instead or providing a complete fitting, however, I'll just tell you what the modules are. Sometimes we use one type of gun, sometimes another. Sometimes we use tech II damage mods, sometimes not. Don't bother trying to supply large numbers of fully-fit tech II Catalysts, since they're more expensive and the fittings vary. Instead, you can supply sets of guns, damage mods, etc. separately:

8 x Light Ion Blaster II
8 x Light Neutron Blaster II
3 x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
150 x Void S

You can help us out by seeding the appropriate stations, or by creating private contracts to New Order Logistics, to keep it off-market. If you can't haul the stuff yourself, you can hire Push Industries or Red Frog Freight to move it for you.

And what if you have no interest in moving things to any particular station? If you just like building stuff in your own highsec system, or in Jita, that's not a problem. If you create a private contract to New Order Logistics, we can see what you're selling and buy it, from anywhere in EVE. (As opposed to the market, which is only visible when you're in the same region.) If the price is right, our Knights can buy your stuff and hire a courier to move it.

Here's an example of what the Knights in New Order Logistics see:

If you're in the corp, make sure to tick the "My Corporation" box. Note that you can see a contract that someone made to us from Jita, even though I was in Brapelille when I took the screenshot. Put your mouse over the "Multiple Items" contracts to quickly see what's being sold in each of them.

For obvious reasons, you're more likely to get your stuff sold if you put it in the apppropriate station first, but it's still possible to supply us from Jita, or anywhere else in highsec.

OK, now let's talk about the stations which we will be using as our HQs. We are still in Brapelille IV-2 Federal Freight Storage.

We will continue to operate out of that station for as long as there is equipment to be used and targets to be killed. In addition, we'll be using two more HQs:

The first is Chelien IV-20 Federal Administration Information Center. There's only one station in Chelien, so there shouldn't be any confusion. Chelien is located only four jumps from Brapelille--just a little farther than our Knights like to jump from one system when looking for targets. The last time I was there, the Chelien ice field had no less than one hundred mining barges and exhumers. Seed this station. We'll be using it.

The other HQ will be Jaschercis III-1 Federal Freight Storage. It's the top station in the system. Note that neither the Chelien HQ nor the Jaschercis HQ has medical services. You can put your clone in the Jaschercis IV-1 FedMart Retail Center. I told my Agents that I planned to use the Retail Center for our HQ in Jaschercis, but I had to change that due to problems with the undock--it's wonky and not good for our insta undocks. Remember it this way: "Retail" to revive you after your clone dies, "Federal Freight Storage" to store your freight.

Jaschercis is only two jumps from Chelien, so you can use the medical services in the Retail Center of Jaschercis when operating out of Chelien.

Above you can see our Brapelille map with an arrow for Chelien and two light-blue arrows pointing to Jaschercis, which you can get to either by traveling three jumps west of Ardallabier or two jumps south of Chelien. If we stock each of the three HQs, then we will have five ice field systems within 1 jump, and an additional ice field system (Misneden) within two jumps. And a lot of ore-mining systems within striking distance, as well.

In theory, we could just operate out of either Jaschercis or Chelien, since they're so close to each other. However, I would like to begin shifting us into the mindset of putting medium-sized caches of matériel in multiple systems, as opposed to one giant cache in one system. This will allow us to expand our influence over a wider area, give us access to more targets, and, in making us less predictable, make it much more difficult for enemies to counter our attacks.

Where is the New Order operating? In Brapelille, Chelien, and Jaschercis--as long as we can find equipment and targets there.

The Rebels Strike Back, Part 1

Over the past month, the newly-knighted Knights of the Order have wrought havoc upon the botters and bot-aspirants of highsec, who were taken completely unprepared.

Salzenstein and many others like him were forcibly woken from their slumber. That kind of thing can make a man grouchy.

Miners claimed they had no idea that there was a set of rules they had to follow in order to mine in my highsec. Now they're on notice.

Salzenstein hasn't been reading enough MinerBumping lately. It's so important to keep up. He was expecting bumps, but he got killed instead. The Agents of the New Order are duly authorized to use anything in their toolkit to help fix highsec.

But there are some people who don't approve of the New Order and the change we bring. They want the status quo and more botterdom. And they decided it was time to strike back.

Even though it's far cheaper to pay the 10 million isk per year and go for maximum yield, some obstinate miners decided to try tanking our attacks instead. They debated vigorously over whether it was better to go for an active tank or a buffer tank.

It's inconclusive. Some miners buffer tank, while others put Civilian Shield Boosters on their 200 million isk Mackinaws. Still others prefer to use no tank at all. In educated circles, it is known that the permit tank is the best tank.

Baani, who has since suffered at the hands of the New Order, recommended the use of remote rep drones. As far as I know, no one has tried that one yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Rokmal Serala, who claims to be "Red Penned and proud", followed us from Tolle. He offered remote reps to all the miners of Brapelille, to save them from our ganks. It didn't go as planned, and he was unable to rescue a single miner. Only the New Order rescues miners. I told him to stop, but Rokmal insisted on giving aid to the resistance.

For awhile, anyway.

Krom Thomson was another miner who rested all his hopes on the shoulders of his drones. A fleet of Catalysts, however, is more powerful than a handful of drones. Especially when that fleet is filled with pilots who fight for something they believe in. Drones, on the other hand, believe in nothing. They are bots.

Guardian Turtle's space lawyer spidey-sense told him that ganking is probably a EULA violation. In fact he was confident enough to matter-of-factly inform everyone in local of his interpretation of the rules.

A lot of people think that the space lawyers only objected to bumping because it was a creative, unorthodox way to exercise our power. Not so! They objected to it because it was inconvenient. Anything, including shooting at spaceships, can be against the EULA in their minds.

The rebel miners found that tanking, using drones, and remote-repping were unable to stop the New Order and its steady march of progress. Would petitioning CCP be the answer? Could the rebels find some way to put an end to the Great Awakening of Highsec?

To be continued...

Rise of Power

Agent Agent Eunoli has done it again, producing another outstanding video about the New Order. It's a must-watch:

New Order of Highsec - Rise of Power

It's another one that demands to be watched in HQ. Spread it far and wide, my friends. Who can deny the New Order after viewing such an awe-inspiring presentation?

Thirty-Eight Billion in Shares Sold

We're passing billion marks left and right these days. Today's Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™ goes to Venzi Athenian, whose purchase of 150 shares was just enough to get us over the 38 billion mark. Keep them coming, and we'll keep the Catalysts coming!

How the New Order Protects Your Democracy

I've often spoken of the New Order's commitment to preserving individual liberty, freedom of choice, and representative government. My election to the position of supreme ruler of highsec was 100% democratic. Still, rebel miners often express doubts about the legitimacy of my election, the imposition of the Code, and the fairness of New Order governance in general.

The rebels' objections stem from an imperfect, incomplete understanding of what democracy is and how individual rights manifest themselves in a practical context. For example, each person has a right to cast his or her own vote. This right was exercised when I voted as proxy on everyone else's behalf. This step was only necessary because the voters were, at the time, unable to cast a vote that would reflect their interests--which is the whole point of having a vote.

That much is common sense and, I think, pretty well understood. Yet some rebels take their objections a step further, and they call into question the legitimacy of my voting as proxy in the first place.

I recognize that the New Order and its Code naturally stir up varying emotions among the people of highsec. I myself am even the subject of the occasional controversy. I would caution those who have doubts, to put their emotions aside. Let's put the baggage away for a moment, and let reason alone sit before us. I'm confident that if everyone looks at the question in a thoughtful, rational manner, we can unanimously conclude that my sovereignty over highsec is the result of free choice and democracy, not some egotistical power grab.

Democracy is about more than merely having the right to an opinion. Democracy involves voting. But it can't stop there, can it? Voting, by its very nature, carries certain other requirements. You can't vote without some mechanism to cast your vote (paper ballots, marbles in a jar, computerized voting booths, whatever). You can't vote without some means by which to count the votes. Nor can you vote for a candidate without there first being some candidates for whom to vote. And would your vote have any meaning unless the candidates had some office into which they ascended, after having been elected? Would that office have any meaning without an institution of which it was a part? And would any of that have meaning unless there was some way to enforce the system's continued existence?

The "right to vote" sounds like such a simple thing, until you take a deeper look into what that right entails. Other rights must flow from the right to vote. Voting is meaningless apart from the existence of ballots, candidates, offices, institutions, and enforcement. Therefore, the right to vote also requires the right to ballots, candidates, offices, and so on.

Now consider the implications of these rights, as they apply to EVE and highsec.

As we all know, highsec is awash with bots and bot-aspirants. Having existed in a state of anarchy for so long, highsec is on an unsustainable course. Highsec life--if you can call it life--is increasingly automated. Bots and bot-aspirants can mine a lot of ice and ore, but they can't do much else. One need only visit the average system in highsec to see the truth of that. The systems are dead. Local is silent. Ore and ice are being collected, but there's not a trace of humanity.

How does democracy exist in such an environment? Where are the institutions? Where is the enforcement? For that matter, where are the voters? Only humans can exercise free will, not bots. Not even humans, if they are AFK. Everyone has a right to vote, yet that right necessarily depends upon the preexistence of so many other things--to which everyone also has a right.

If democracy cannot exist in highsec's current environment, and if the people have a right to democracy, then the people also have a right to change the environment. Democracy demands that highsec be saved from its current state. To be saved, highsec must have a Saviour. Highsec must have the institutions of an Order, which operates according to a Code, which is enforced by Agents of that Order.

Logic and reason leave no other conclusion: The principles of liberty, free choice, and democracy demand that everyone in highsec has a right to the New Order, a right to the Code, and a right to the Saviour of Highsec. These rights are inalienable. They cannot be taken away. No rebel or resistance movement, no matter how much they desire to oppose us, can deprive anyone of their right to be ruled by the New Order and receive the benefits of its leadership.

One Order, One Code, One Saviour of Highsec. No opposition or dissent. That is the meaning of freedom.

The One We've Been Waiting For
