Over One Trillion Five Hundred Ninety-Two Billion in Shares Sold

If you could choose to possess any ability, having good timing wouldn't be a bad pick.

Kera Udan had good timing. Her purchase of 200 shares of New Order stock was just enough--at just the right time--to take us past the 1,592 billion isk mark. Why was that such a valuable thing? Because it earned her a Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™.

In case you're wondering, though: The best time to buy New Order shares is right now.

BONUS!

Have you ever wanted to start a conversation with someone who didn't feel like talking to you, but you didn't know how? Grigory Filippov wasn't in a mood to speak with anyone after he lost a freighter worth 10 billion isk.

Agent Lawrence Lawton knew just the right icebreaker to use: He placed a bounty of 315,315 isk on Grigory. Suddenly, the carebear was sending him a convo request! Way to flip the script.

Unfortunately, once Grigory saw the Code being linked, he was eager to get out of the convo.

Lawrence managed to use some logic to reel Grigory back in. The carebear repaid him with a cryptic remark.

Upon losing a ship, some carebears try to console themselves by making idle threats. Our Agents don't even let them have that. The Code outlaws any sort of comfort based on self-deception.

Grigory returned to silent mode, but not until after our Agent stabbed him with some truths. That was definitely worth 315,315 isk.

  1. Should be a great Memorial Day Weekend! Automobile Racing, NBA Playoffs, Baseball games, all to be enjoyed while doing some relaxing mining in various high security systems.
And after I have made a few hundred million ISK I'll go do some hiking and camping in a nearby wilderness area. Something Jamey and his CHODE. slaves know nothing about, living 100% in the dark & dank of their parent's basements.

This is why I say selling a permit to a miner who is not truly penitent is bad idea. He's only buying it to hide behind, to lie to himself and all of EVE about his intentions for our modern highsec society. Until the miner is property broken, he cannot be properly fixed.

Most of us know in our hearts that highsec miners don't really belong in highsec. They are too willing to break the law, to revert to their most base form. They must be purged for the safety and security of a lawful highsec.

How can anyone display a permit in the bio of a +5.0? That's risk aversion at it's ugliest, and goes against the Lawful Code of highsec, and the intention of EVE.

Only when a pilot is willing to sacrifice is he ready for a permit. All others just need to die more.

    2. I like to conduct my duty as an agent in a kind way. It's not -required- of course, but I prefer to do it anyways. Like when a miner is killed, I often greet him saying 'Good day!'.

Thist is pretentious of me. As far as EvE goes, he's a highsec miner. His day wasn't good. It reached it's peak with my appearance, and will continue to be almost as bad after I'm gone.

Yet I say 'good day'. The contrast of the foul-mouthed, disillusioned miners and the valiant and joyful agents have to be displayed. But it's not just that. I sincerely hope that having a good day will mean giving up highsec mining forever. But I know it won't be the case.

In the same way, I'm convinced that all the miner needs for happiness is to buy a permit and follow the Code. I know for a fact that the latter is infinitely harder for a carebear to do. Most likely, they just won't do it.

Yet, common courtesy means that I expect the best possible behavior from the miners. So I sell every permit to show my neverending trust towards the minerhood. They must have a free will, to follow the Code on their own volition.

    3. Well, I guess you could keep lying to yourself about the free will of miners, but you missed the point. As a highsec mining coward, they don't belong here. Their free will is still not their own until they are properly educated about what EVE really is, a PVP sandbox where risk aversion is the lowest form of play.

The reality is that ANYONE who's first inclination in a 'PVP sandbox' is to mine in highsec will never be able to see their hypocrisy, until they have been completely reprogrammed. How can they belong here if they think it's proper gameplay to mine in highsec in EVE.?

Their first instinct, to mine in highsec in a PVP game, is what seperates the lowly highsec shitter from those who know how EVE was intended to be played. It's an Agent's job to correct those miners, not simply mass mail permits out to shitters.

The reason they must he broken is numbers. There are so many more shitters in this world than normal people that some of them inevitably wind up trying to play EVE, and incorrectly. If those shitters are allowed to believe they belong here then it makes other shitters think they can carebear it up here also. Soon you have the modern state of highsec as it looks today; shitters as far as the eye can see, all thinking they have not only a right to be here, but that CCP should change EVE into a shitter carebear paradise to attract more shitters. Do you see the problem yet?

The ONLY way to properly condition a highsec coward is to treat them like one, until they become self aware. Only when a shitters realizes that he is the problem can he be truly indoctrinated into our modern highsec civilization.

If you cared about EVE you would try to make them leave highsec, or the game. Either one is better for EVE than selling some ignorant sperg a permit he didn't earn so he continues to think mining in highsec is somehow ok.

Like anything else in life, if a permit is not earned then the shitter displaying it will have no respect for it. If you sell a permit to a shitter who's not ready for one, and who thinks it's all a scam anyway, then you are just perpetuating his ignorance.

EVE is worth fighting for. And in this fight you are either part of the solution or part of the problem. There's no room for weakness in EVE, nor insolent carebear shitters trying to turn EVE into a hand-holding, kumbaya-singing, carebear-hugging shithole themepark.

You ever hear people compare EVE to some other themepark shithole they play? They cry about how other game developers do things, and how EVE don't cater enough to the masses.

Well no shit, EVE is not supposed to be those other shitholes, it's EVE.

If they want WoW or LoL or Hello Kitty then they should go play there, not bring their ignorance into our game.

If you keep treating the shitters like they belong here, and one day EVE WILL belong to them.

Kill them now, and kill them often. Until they realize that EVE was not designed for masses of carebears to mine afk all day under the protection of highsec mechanics.

But you just keep hugging those nasty highsec criminals. If you choose to lie with the animals don't complain about the fleas.

In game of course, jeezus, you shitters need to calm down! And stop killing your kids.

You know how a pedo is required to let all his neighbor's know he's a sicko when he moves to a new area? That's what a permit is to highsec miners, it's their declaration to the community that they are a sicko carebear in a PVP game.

It tells noraml players that the miners can not to be trusted to control themselves around suple young asteroids....

    XD

  6. I will try to keep it simple.

When a miner is blapped in highsec the Agent responsible should spend no more time with the miner than it takes to send him a "GF" and a link to the Code. Any more coddling than that is detrimental to the natural selection that should be shaping the pilots in highsec.

If a miner needs more help than that he is obviously too ignorant to play EVE correctly. In this day and age if a player cannot 'google' his way to success in EVE then he's too retarded to be here. He has become a drain on the community and the game.

EVE had pretty strong subscription numbers when people had to figure things out for themselves, it's when the carebear shitters whine so loud that ccp dumbs-down the game that normal people lose interest.

Are you part of the problem, or part of the solution to the the carebear question?

Only when you are part of the solution have you earned the right to proudly display a permit in you bio. Everyone else is just lying to to themselves, and the rest of the community.

I guess I really just want to know if altanon00 can recognize the hypocrisy of one anon calling out another anon, and how alt feels about being a hypocrite.
