Open Thread: CODEdot Alliance Logo

The New Order changes lives. Newly rescued carebears wake up each morning and, making their plans for the day, say something like, "Ah, yes! We have the Code now. Splendid!" The purpose of an alliance logo, I think, is to encapsulate that feeling into a single image.

Design of CODEdot's logo has been opened up to the public. Lately, support has been coalescing around this one, created by Agent Gurty Jones:

That's the rust version, which seems to be the most popular at the moment; Gurty has an album of other colors. CCP's art team has preferences for certain color formats, so if they don't like the rust, we can submit others.

This is an open thread for contemplation and comment about the alliance logo. If you have any interest in submitting your own design, now would be the time to get it done. You can read the MinerBumping post about the rules for logos at the link.

Regardless of what the logo turns out to be, it will serve as a beacon across highsec--now and always.

  7. I look forward to seeing your face stamped with the concord logo. perhaps it would best served in the middle of the forehead. Ha CODE permanently Concorded.

It is a convenient thing of ease - whenever there is a thought of the future, just imagine a boot treading on that face.

  9. Make the typeface legible. No one will be able to read your logo if the text is fancy, no matter how cool your logo may look. Most professional logo designers use a limited number of typefaces:

  20. Nothing beats legitimate arranging in any field and it is the same for a logo outline as well. A few people simply don't make a fuss over their association's logo and attempt to outline the same from any shabby association. One ought to recall that a legitimate logo configuration is greatly essential for the association's business. Logo Design
