I've noticed a shift in the attitude of highsec over the last year or so. The signs can be subtle, but they're there. Can you guess what I'm talking about?
We've been seeing more and more miners and industrialists pledging their allegiance to the New Order. The old highsec culture--AFK mining, resistance to the Code, bot-aspirancy, etc.--doesn't seem to speak to the new generation of miner the way it used to. Today's miner is often proud of the Code, viewing himself as a member of the New Order, and at times fiercely protective of it.
Need I say more? Bluejay Destros is the latest to purchase a stake in the new highsec. Her order for 315 shares sent us over the 846 billion isk mark and earned her a Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™.
A memo to the carebears, PvE'ers, and industrialists: Highsec is on the move. Will you be left behind?
