The Invisible Resistance

Every gank performed in the name of the Code is a revolutionary act--and a wholesome, fulfilling one at that. Agent Aaaarrgg acted quickly and resolutely when he destroyed a rebel Retriever in the Dresi system. How would the locals respond?

The reaction was mixed. And it was slow to develop, as many residents were still returning to their keyboards nearly an hour later.

Uh-oh, we've got a live one!

xxBIOHAZARD xx spoke out against the New Order's authority. Though harmlessly docked up in a station, his words were harsh and full of anger. Was he merely having a bad day, or was he a committed rebel?

xxBIOHAZARD claimed to be a former member of New Order Logistics, a corporation in the CODE. alliance. If he'd joined the resistance, there was no telling what kind of sensitive intel he might've brought with him. Gank methods, schedules... Anything!

Aaaarrgg had no choice but to investigate the potential security breach. He politely requested the identity of xxBIOHAZARD's alt.

It was worse than Aaaarrgg feared. xxBIOHAZARD created entire squadrons that had spent months ruining New Order gank operations. And none of us were aware of it!

Rebel spymaster xxBIOHAZARD carefully guarded his secrets. He wasn't going to let CODE. know where CODE. members were dying.

Thus far, the leader of the rebel squadrons had kept all of their activities under the radar. Way, way, way under the radar. Like, still parked on the runway.

The squadrons were growing. xxBIOHAZARD and his secret alts only formed the vanguard of his resistance movement.

At last, the Anti-Gankers had a leader worthy of their cause.

Aaaarrgg and xxBIOHAZARD parted ways. In the months that followed, there was no sign of xxBIOHAZARD or his squadrons. He didn't take any action against the New Order. But then again, that was sort of the point: A resistance movement so secret--so invisible--that as far as anyone in the New Order knows, it doesn't exist.

    1. Any code members that are upset because I give my attention to Wolf's ass and his rectal health, you need to call and make an appointment. The number to call is 1-800-382-5663. The thing about Wolf though, is that he actually invited me into the "secret place" in his ass to take a load off. Bonus room indeed.

  7. Dear miners of highsec,

If you are going to lie about being in CODE at least say you were in The Conference Elite(TCE). Saying NOL just makes you look sad because that corp is literally cool people from top to bottom. Everyone knows this and it gives you away immediately.

    Hope this helps!

    Hugs and kisses,
    John

    I'm asking for a friend.

  10. Yeah! More boring tripe from the CODE whose lasting legacy to EVE, despite all of its own pseudo-psycho religious protestations, amounts to nothing more than self-aggrandizing drivel. Never has a corporation worked so hard to achieve so little. Please, no really, please regale us yet once more with gallant tales of burning ants with a magnifying glass, er, I mean yer mighty and most righteous gankings.

    1. I'm certain those ants did not have a mining permit, so yeah they were POD killed.

    2. You don't really equate AFK high sec miners with ants do you?

Ants are hard working, colonists that work together to achieve targets no single ant would ever be able to accomplish. High Sec AFK miners couldn't possibly hope to accomplish such a feat as working together for mutual benefits.

    3. Certain they didn't have a permit, are you? Since when has that mattered? Plenty of pilots have been killed and podded who had permits. And who said they are AFK and not working together? Prove it. As in objectively-speaking, produce your empirical evidence of AFK and not working together case-by-case. Stop cowering behind sanctimonious twaddle and silence your doubters by producing hard evidence. Otherwise, you are nothing more than vacuous acolytes liberally interpreting and capriciously applying the CODE. True adherents respect, nay revere, the CODE and would not deign to taint it by doing anything that does not strictly observe the CODE.

Do you even read minerbumping? Obviously you do since you came here to fanpost. Since you seem to be just joining us as a loyal fan you need to read a few of the past articles. They are full of your requested evidence.

      Delete
    5. Of course I've read them. Each one regaling the "post" gank conversations, often stating the purported infraction but rarely showing hard evidence of said infraction. The infraction is inferred, not clearly and unequivocally evidenced. And in some cases, the "post" gank conversation reveals a CODE acolyte ganked a pilot "just because." Where is the "pre" gank dialogue? It's a great rarity. Perhaps a little less Kool-Aid and a little more application of critical reading and thinking will illuminate the preponderance of inaccuracies and omissions. My interest in posting is to understand if the CODE (minus the religious pabulum) is truly an honorable corporation rightly ridding high-sec of AFKers/botters (something CCP has failed miserably to do) or just a cabal of profiteering thugs who their crimes in self-righteous double-talk.

    6. So no one has a rational reply? It's a valid question: Why is there rarely any pre-gank dialogue posted? It would go a long way to exonerating the CODE.

  13. What is the fascination CHODE. 'agents' have with killboards? Why are they so imporant?

BTW, last night I moved over 5 billion worth of PI through the Jita-Amarr pipeline in a freighter. CHODE. was nowhere to be found. They failed that day.

    1. if you have to ask what the "fascination" with killboards is, you don't understand much about Eve. In the typical carebear fashion you probably think it's about "epeen".

No, I guess I don't understand much about Eve. Care to enlighten me? And what is a "epeen"?

  14. While they tend to be lame, ineffectual newbs...I am actually glad to see 'white knights'. That shows that CODE is making Eve a better place.
When miners and haulers whined about being killed, the first reaction should have been to hire escort. That fits within the game, encourages playing with others, and is an opportunity for more role playing (in an RPG).
Care bears still managed to fail to seize on this opportunity as a group, so these white knights are doomed to comical failure.
But as silly as they often are- I am glad to see white knights. That is how Eve should have been all along- not unarmed and untanked industrial ships sitting all alone without any protection- yet hauling billions in ore or cargo. There should always have been a need for escort (even just against rats) for barges. CCP made it so an industrial ship is at no risk from vicious NPC pirate combat ships, breaking any realism or immersion to mining.
By forcing there to even be white knights in high sec, CODE has succeeded where CCP fails. A high sec where people play together. Where there is a role for combat pilots within Industry gameplay. Where belts are more than a collection of people AFK. Nothing brings people together than a common enemy- and CCP failed to provide one, and their game suffers for it.
All of high sec owes CODE a huge thanks.

    1. How dare you deny the evidence that a sting operation is already ongoing. Last night in lanngisi I was protecting a group of ice miners for 2 hours straight. I happened to be in the area until someone echoed code territory in system. I was scanning the system for the so called "white knight of Satan."
He was cloaked from what the locals tell me, and what did he do? Nothing but run his mouth just asking himself to be humiliated by my 1000 + DPS talos.

Last night was the night that code did nothing but watch as miners nowadays are hiring personal security to protect their assets.
