The Hero from Lowsec, Part 3

Previously, on MinerBumping... Lowsec enthusiast W0lf Crendraven was appalled by Agent Bing Bangboom's treatment of the Kino system. Taking up the anti-Code mantle, W0lf challenged Bing to a duel. But the duel ended in embarrassment when W0lf discovered he was unable to break Bing's cloak tank. After the duel expired, Bing decloaked and casually waited for W0lf to make good on his threats. But the lowsec PvP'er could only yellowbox him.
W0lf Crendraven > highsec should just flat out get removed from the game
W0lf Crendraven > but mostly due to guys like you
W0lf Crendraven > so that the "Highsec" pvpers cant hide anymore
Bing Bangboom > I'm not hiding. I'm right here
W0lf Crendraven > you are hiding behind concord
The self-appointed representative of lowsec PvP was reduced to giving Bing the "carebear stare". The Kino resistance movement was deeply disappointed. Why, they could've gotten one of their local rebels to do that!
Bing Bangboom > Killing non-permit holders
Bing Bangboom > blap blap blap
Bing Bangboom > I've killed two tonight already.
W0lf Crendraven > and?
Bing Bangboom > I'll kill two more...
W0lf Crendraven > you can kill 1 per 15min if you care to
W0lf Crendraven > but those kills are meaningless
Bing happily pointed out the flaw in W0lf's logic: Though W0lf claimed that highsec PvP'ers were protected by CONCORD, Bing had no problem killing other players, regardless of CONCORD. It was a skill that W0lf apparently didn't possess.
Bing Bangboom > not to the botters they aren't.
W0lf Crendraven > dont you accuse AFKers of botting too?
Bing Bangboom > afkers are bot aspirants.
Bing Bangboom > they hide the bots by looking just like them
W0lf Crendraven > as ive said "highsecpvp"
The hero from lowsec dismissed the tens of trillions of isk worth of damage inflicted by the New Order and other highsec PvP'ers. None of it counted.
W0lf Crendraven > i mainly dislike that you actually do the game a disservice
Bing Bangboom > how so?
W0lf Crendraven > we agree that eve is fun right?
W0lf Crendraven > and should stay around?
W0lf Crendraven > well, every newb has to start in highsec
Bing Bangboom > not exactly true but go on.
W0lf Crendraven > getting griefed all the time in highsec all the time
W0lf Crendraven > makes many people leave eve forever
Next, W0lf blasted the New Order for driving away new players. It's a tired old line that carebears have been trotting out for years. They still use it, even though CCP scientifically and systematically debunked the myth seven months ago.
Bing Bangboom > you know it was worse years ago.
Bing Bangboom > and there were more players then
Bing Bangboom > all the nerfs to highsec pvp have made it less fun
W0lf Crendraven > no, eve is declining atm
W0lf Crendraven > and you are a cause of that
As Bing and other highsec PvP'ers know, highsec was much more dangerous in years past, before the nerfs. At that time, the number of subscribers was steadily growing. Indeed, EVE's numbers worsened while CCP was implementing the nerfs.
Bing Bangboom > do you think they should be able to mine safely, afk, in untanked ships?
W0lf Crendraven > no, i dont mind suicide ganking for profit
W0lf Crendraven > if you make isk from it, the pure ganking its fine by me
Bing Bangboom > just not to save the game
W0lf Crendraven > but bumping and general griefplay is not along those lines
W0lf Crendraven > freighter bumping, miner bumping and so on
Here, W0lf parted ways with his fellow theme park advocates. Most carebearists say, "Keep ganking, but make it more difficult; don't allow it to be profitable." W0lf was in favor of ganking, but only if it made a profit. On the other hand, he wanted to ban freighter bumping, apparently not realizing it's part of a lucrative ganking method.
Bing Bangboom > Explain to me how what we are doing in not completely in line with the ideas that Eve was built on.
W0lf Crendraven > choices
W0lf Crendraven > eve is all about choices
W0lf Crendraven > if anyone jumps into lowsec
W0lf Crendraven > they make a choice to go there
W0lf Crendraven > if they die its cause they jumped in
W0lf Crendraven > if someone goes yellow they made that choice
W0lf Crendraven > undocking is NOT a choice
One of the most revered EVE adages is that a player consents to PvP when he undocks. It has been publicly endorsed by CCP as a "Golden Rule of EVE". W0lf declared the rule to be as meaningless as highsec PvP.
Bing Bangboom > the game is shooting spaceships
Bing Bangboom > or avoiding being shot
Bing Bangboom > its not fly around making ISK and nobody bothers you.
W0lf Crendraven > but you and me both know a miner cannot avoud being shot
As for all the things a miner should do to avoid being ganked? W0lf tossed them into the garbage, too. He was becoming as nihilistic as the miner who said ganks won't matter when the world ends.
Bing Bangboom > 1) He can tank his ship, 2) he can pay attention and 3) he can buy a permit
W0lf Crendraven > i agree with 1 and 2
W0lf Crendraven > 3 is griefing
Bing Bangboom > what if they want to make ISK in lowsec? Won't you shoot them if they come there and mine?
W0lf Crendraven > yes, but they know i can do that
W0lf Crendraven > and they can warp away
Bing Bangboom > and they know I can kill them here.
W0lf Crendraven > but they cannot run
Some people say that the Code is nonsense. If you want to hear real nonsense, ask someone to defend the carebear philosophy. You'll be amazed by the things they come up with.
Bing Bangboom > you seem to think highsec means safe. it just means different.
Bing Bangboom > Kill: Erick Andedare (Retriever) no permit
W0lf Crendraven > highsec is the least save place in eve imo
W0lf Crendraven > due to how retarded the rules are
Bing Bangboom > and yet, its the rules
Bing Bangboom > you follow them and we follow them.
W0lf Crendraven > and bumping is within the rules and still grieding
Carebear logic is a tortured pretzel under the best of conditions. W0lf was unable to kill Bing because highsec rules made it too difficult to PvP him. At the same time, Bing was able to kill players because highsec PvP is too easy. On the other hand, highsec's the most dangerous place in EVE. Miners can run away in lowsec, but they can't in highsec, despite having CONCORD protection, which only protects the gankers--despite CONCORD killing gankers and not miners.
W0lf Crendraven > highsec pvp is for people who cannot pvp elsewhere
Bing Bangboom > interesting point of view
W0lf Crendraven > isnt mine, its all of eves POV concering highsec pvp
W0lf Crendraven > "control highsec", silly rper
Bing Bangboom > killing is how we do it.
W0lf Crendraven > but you rule nothing
W0lf Crendraven > it shighsec
W0lf Crendraven > *hhighsec
In short, W0lf had very strong feelings about highsec, but none of his feelings made any sense.
Bing Bangboom > Mom says dinner time... be back soon
W0lf Crendraven > and that sentence explains all
W0lf Crendraven > lol
Our Agent survived the duel and won the debate. Now it was time to win the battle for Kino. He announced his imminent departure, which caused W0lf to leave the system. When the dust settled, Agent Bing Bangboom held the field.
Bing Bangboom > I'm back and he left
Bing Bangboom > guess HE won't be saving Kino
rasputin2 > who?
Bing Bangboom > W0lf Crendraven
Bing Bangboom > he was here to kill me and save your worthless selves.
rasputin2 > we are not worthless we r worth 10mil each and u know it
Peace and tranquility was restored to Kino. The local resistance movement yearned for a hero from lowsec to rescue them. What they didn't realize is that they already had a hero. His name was Bing Bangboom. He was right there all along!

  1. Just what I like to see, yet another happy ending, with the Code and New Order winning, and so-called "elite PvPers" losing and sulking off back to lowsec!

    The Code ALWAYS wins!!!! ALWAYS!!!!

  2. I'm not sure how a pirate that extorts ISK from the local population under pain of death is a hero, but whatever.

But congrats, a CODE pirate bravely cloaked up when faced with someone calling them out in local.

Highly worthy of reading. This is yet another reason why you are not elite PvPers, despite your protests to the contrary.

    1. Did you not see it?

The lowsec "hero" could not stop noble New Order Agent Bing BangBoom! All he was able to do, with all of his so-called "combat prowess," was "yellowbox" him, in the same fashion as a lowly miner. Then this so-called "hero" flailed about, until he finally conceded that there was nothing that he could do to stop the New Order, and then rambled on about "how this game is not fair."

That "hero" could have shot at Bing's ship. He just chose not to, because of the fatal consequenes of messing with a New Order Agent. As anyone could see, he effectively backed down from the fight, leaving Agent Bing to continue his Code Enforcement.

Victory, it seems follows the New Order at every turn!

    2. Personally, I'm surprised that your agent wasn't -10 to begin with. Would have made this a simple affair. Every agent I've seen has had a -10 security rating, apparently not everyone has that.

CODE thinks that blowing up un-armed, un-tanked, and un-controlled ships is "elite PvP". CODE is effectively shooting NPC rats and then claiming their success makes them great PvPers. Mission runners have the same delusion.

CODE thinks that blowing up un-armed, un-tanked, and un-controlled ships is some great "Victory". That must mean mission runners are the most victorious pilots in the whole Eve cluster.

CODE says that "The CODE always wins!". The CODE never wins, because it can't win. If following the CODE turned any ship into an ungankable fortress then perhaps that statement would have merit. Following the CODE is also known as 'common sense' and it makes gankers have to work harder, but you can still be destroyed.

If someone follows the CODE, yet still dies to gankers, how does the CODE win then?

  3. Ganking people in high sec is meaningless. The only fights that matter happen about ever year or two potentially even longer. I mean watching you guys fight is funny don't get me wrong you do provided humor. But actual true real meaning well James is no Mattani or Grath that's for sure. The stories and fights that get remembered happen in Low sec Akadagi and null sec. The only thing I remember code ever doing is failing to show for an AT. So lets be real Ganking is amusing but in no way is it Meaningful to the game as a whole.

    5. Strange I don't see it in the record book. you may want to contact CCP about that.

Of course, because the "winners" of ATXII were Pandemic Legion. Our opponents were Clockwork Pineapple, and we managed to do upwards of 11 billion of damage to their Alliance Tournament ships.

Read about it and educate yourself.

  5. James boy, your tears are as bitter as Vegemite on stale toasted bread, you keep bashing on that CCP has debunked myths. But the truth is those statistics are always skewed as we both know accounts can go inactive without someone ever stating the proper reason why they left. Some might not choose at all because you got them banned before they could choose or they might have chose something else from fear of retribution from your extortionist agents.

    1. Wow... I'm just wondering... what brought this comment on?

As far as I know, the New Order has never used the Banhammer™ as an enforcement tool, with the only exceptions being miners who repeatedly use real-life death threats, which, as we all know, is a violation of the EULA and not tolerated by CCP at all.

    2. Who can blame them. If they stand up for themselves you piss all over them, but if they give you ISK then you shit all over them. Hmmm... what's the word I'm looking for... is it griefing, no that's not it... is it suicide ganking... no that's not it... is it harrassment, no not quite the word I'm after. Ah of course it's jihad, that's what you guys just a bunch of terrorists, your the definition of terrorist. You instill fear and hate among the innocent population. You bring your shitty veteran issues into high-sec because the CFC or whatever the heck they wanna be called these days, can not give you staged "content" to satisfy your miserable boredom. Grow some balls and fix the real problem... wardec the goons and then you'll get precious "content" that you all so desire but are all to blind to figure that out for yourselves. And another thing, if you are all that retarded to take death threats in a game like EVE seriously then get a life, or become famous like the Mittani or Chribba, who HAS the BALLS to list his PHONE NUMBER in his BIO (notice the really big letters just for you incase four eyes is not enough for you). This is EVE of course someone is going to make deathreats to kill all of your family in-game, oops they have already been jihaded or "ganked" while on a nice vacation Uedama. I hope James 315 paid for their funeral.

    1. Oink, I sense your butthurt.

Pointing out the CODE is a lie, and claims of 'Victory' or 'Elite' are simply absurd when examined can cause some people on this board distress.

To buy into your own propaganda, that is the path of folly.
