The Roads to Success and Failure

The EVE community has learned to love watching videos of elite New Order PvP. In turn, more of our Agents have been inspired to create such videos. Our latest videographer is Agent Vilinensis Octoria, who sent me the following:

In split-screen action, we can see events unfold from the perspective of both scout and ganker.

As any ganker will tell you, watching a bot-aspirant mine while blissfully unaware of their imminent peril can be incredibly suspenseful. And then the catharsis from the carebear's explosion? It's a beautiful thing.

The New Order continues its dominance in the field of a more traditional form of artwork, electronic paint. Malphas Inanis somehow found the time to create not one but three masterpieces. Take a look.

Every gank--every flight of a Catalyst--sends a message. In this case, it's literally spelled out.

EVE is a (competitive PvP) sandbox, which means it's a game about choice. In highsec, for example, you have the option of complying with the Code or suffering the agony of defeat.

...There is no third option.

  1. Be wary, lest ye step down the path of carebearism. Ye shall find naught but a big heap of fail.

  2. The only good thing I can say about carebears is that every one of them, eventually, will recognize The New Order as supreme to their malcontent lives and James 315 as their Soveriegn given enough time. And it is only a matter of time.

    Praise James!

    1. And then will quit the game completely, continuing the slow but sure decline in EO subscriber numbers.

      And those videos are boring.

Yet another Eve Is Dying™ post from yet another disaffected and buttdevastated carebear reacting to the uninterrupted victories of The New Order and The Code.

So disgusting, untrue, and unsupported by the facts. Who would listen to this LOSER?

    2. Because most of them have this little thing called a "real life job" and can't afford to spend 12-14 hours a day playing Eve and/or making videos, like you and the rest of Jamey's cult.

  6. Vilinensis Octoria is a pretty poor ganker. I mine in Umokka and he never manage to get me (in spite of trying). He also unsuccessfully tried to get one of the few Orcas which operates there but couldn't get any of them.
Actually almost none of the regular Umokka miners are in this video, just a few passing mining carebears.
CODE. can do better, please come back to Umokka!
