Highsec Miner Grab Bag #183

Well, you know what that means--it's time for yet another edition of the Highsec Miner Grab Bag!

Our Agents have good reason to be patient: Time is always on our side.

Remember, miners:
The Code > Koffe

In the old days, our Agents triggered the miners by name-dropping the Saviour of Highsec in local. Now we have miners who bring up my name on their own. They still get triggered by it.

Rebellious carebears are often confident about the success of their own resistance efforts--despite the failure of all the others in the past. There's a reason why Anti-Ganking doesn't teach carebears history.

SiwrlyPanda claims that mining is the best aspect of the game. You can tell by how much he's enjoying himself.

Yes it is. But don't forget, when it comes to the Code, there's no such thing as neutrality.

Ali Belette accused the New Order of discriminating against EVE players with Alpha accounts. What's that, you say? Ali's EVEmail doesn't mention anything about discrimination? Read on. It's a long message...

Now we get to the crux of Ali's argument: Properly tanked mining ships require an Omega account, so the Code is discriminatory. But even if you need an Omega account to mine properly, players with Alpha accounts can engage in non-mining activities. So everybody's covered.

The truth is that Ali wrote a lot of fancy words to justify a terrible crime: She was caught mining in a Talos. Click the link to see her fit--if you have the stomach for it.

If you have a short attention span, fear not: For every miner who writes a long essay, there's one like this guy.

A-LIVE claims to have been a former video game journalist. If so, he wrote his articles about EVE from the perspective of a bot-aspirant. No wonder all the smart people get their news from MinerBumping.

Here we have another player who references her former occupation: Intelligence analyst for the U.S. Army. Some people say that "military intelligence" is an oxymoron, but that's not necessarily the case: After writing this EVEmail, Nalera Charante sent me 10 million isk for a mining permit. Someone trained her well.

  1. I also sent 10 million to The Savior for a mining permit on my first days! ISK well spent, His teachings are invaluable.

  2. Did that miner seriously claim that jetcan mining in a Talos was an act of kindness to the other miners, rather than grisly debauchment of an otherwise respectable ship hull? He would be better served by working to please our Agents by buying a permit and obeying the Code.

  3. I'm inspired to find a mining fit so bad that it causes zealots to explode out in sheer outrage.
