The Carebears Almost Shut Down EVE Completely

Sasha Nyemtsov has been taking us on a guided audio tour of the Manifesto II, originally written way back in 2012. The latest edition:

This section of the Manifesto II recalls the darkest days in EVE, when CCP attempted to go full "theme park" and divert all resources away from spaceships and into station-walking. The needs of the highsec carebears were considered so great that the nullsec nodes weren't even given enough power to support small fleet fights. Thank goodness for the "Summer of Rage" movement and, of course, CSM Chairman The Mittani, who flew to Iceland for an emergency summit.

BONUS!

A few days ago, a MinerBumping post shared Sophaya Fortelleren's "Apology" with the world. Sophaya managed to wrangle Sasha's golden voice to make an audio version of that, as well: The First Apology: Kindness

Never a dull day in the Order.

  1. Such enunciation and poise.

This is a lesson in speaking for the great unwashed masses.

  2. This is but one example of the false logic applied by that buffoon james...the claim that care are almost shut Eve down completely is a false exaggeration used to inflame sentiments in people...Also it is not giving CCP any credit or respect for not letting things get that far...this just shows the magnitude of your arrogant stupidity...

    1. I wholeheartedly agree with said above post. Much doom and gloom, silliness.

  3. Yes, the carebears made nullsec combat boring *eyeroll*

Do you know what a troll is?

  4. It makes no sense to talk shit once you're ganked, or even at all. Best to just ignore it, replace your ship, move on, and pay better attention to hopefully avoid another gank.

    1. Beers Veldspar disagrees. He claims the best defense is a good offense and by offense he means "taking offense at everything." He's very sensitive, so please don't offend his delicate sensibilities by engaging in spaceship combat in a space game centered around combat.

    3. Well it seems most of the blogs content is ganked people whining about getting hit. If you shed no tears you take away almost all of their amusement.

    4. The blog stopped being amusing a long time ago. Once James became scarce last year the content has really gone downhill.

Can you really get someone into PL that easily? Tell me.... if they're so elite, why aren't you there yourself?

  5. Ok, are you so out of things to talk... no, bitch about that you have to revert back years in the past to get some propoganda out?

Trust us, you can scream "I'm relevant I swear!" all you want, but it's starting to get even more pathetic than it already was.

Also, come visit 5ZXX-K for some PVP... if you carebears are up for it
