Balthazarian's War, Part 2

Previously, on MinerBumping... The valiant knights of Sword of the Saviour corp used ganker alts to inflict justice upon some miners. A local rebel named Babylon Balthazarian stirred the system to rebellion, encouraging miners to disobey the Code. She even dared our Agents to wardec her alliance. So they did.

The New Order is the supreme military power in highsec. We prosecute our wars at the time and place of our choosing. In a show of bravado, Balthazarian urged the New Order wardeccers to bring it on.

Agent Trathen knew he was up against a 200+ member alliance. But the odds were in his favor: He had three Agents--and the Code. The bot-aspirant alliance was totally outmatched. Time to attack!

It was an incredible slaughter. Three New Order Agents inflicted a staggering loss upon Balthazarian's alliance. In the space of just a few minutes, they bagged a pair of Skiffs, a couple defense ships, and an Orca, along with a handful of pods. Those six fatal minutes cost the carebears well over a billion isk of damage.

When the dust settled, our Agents offered "GF"s in local. They patiently waited to be congratulated and paid for permits.

However, the initial signs were that Balthazarian's alliance wouldn't see reason.

Maybe the bot-aspirants were in shock. Being killed wasn't a part of their typical routine.

Balthazarian had told our Agents to wardec her alliance. She'd even sent an EVEmail encouraging them to launch an attack. However, when the attack came, Balthazarian didn't have anything to back up her bluff and bluster. She lost a tech I fitted Stabber and abandoned any further effort to protect the alliance. From that point on, she simply smacktalked in local.

Having dragged her alliance into a war that cost them so dearly, Balthazarian was unrepentant.

Nor did Balthazarian appear to have any sympathy for her fellow alliance members--who'd been killed on her watch.

The chickenhawk carebear merely brushed aside the much more expensive losses of others. Noobs lose Orcas; it's the cost of war.

Did the other members of the alliance harbor any resentment toward Balthazarian for bringing disaster upon them? On the surface, they were a united front.

But behind the scenes, not everyone was thrilled with Balthazarian's contribution--or lack thereof--to the alliance.

Balthazarian's own corp, Industrial War Machine LLC, was among those who decided to quit the alliance. Agent Alana Charen-Teng informed the alliance leader that the New Order's beef was with Balthazarian. Judging from the reply mail, Balthazarian wasn't held in high esteem.

In the end, Balthazarian's corp had to go it alone. No longer would they receive the benefits of being in an alliance.

As for Babylon Balthazarian herself, she was cast out and became a pariah. Such is the fate of all who dare to challenge the New Order's awesome power.

'Bane' is a kind of archaic term, but it means that something is bad for something else. The person who used the word on you forgot a comma.

Whether a 'bane' is a good thing or a bad thing for one personally is a matter of perspective. "Evil's bane" would be a good thing, while "The bane of all that is good" would be a bad thing. From your perspective, being 'The bane of hisec carebears' would probably be something positive.

Alas, today is the day where James will list his Top Supporters for March,
where I will get one final thanks from the Saviour before stepping down from my position at the top of the Contributors list.

And after I calculate the amount of salt that I harvested this month as a result of that donation- (about six or so threads that go 80+ comments) I would say that it was money well spent- and that New Order Stock pays immediate dividends.

As for my donation plans for the future, we will see. I may throw another billion onto the list just so that I can get top contributor again, provided that someone doesn't "pull a Ming" and get that Duodecuple Supreme Protector's Tip of the Hat™.

Its OK mingy, we all understand how hard it is for you to make isk, how long it takes you, and how little you want to part with it.

    8. Sigh. Sure, pretend you aren't M. Because it's not like the obsession with Ming to the exclusion of everyone else, your using the word "scam" to refer to a voluntary donation, your spelling and grammatical errors throughout, and your use of "mingy" as some kind of creepy term of endearment for Ming....it's not like any of that makes your identity clear.

    9. Haha, M, I'm still waiting for you to tell me more about the "40 billion isk" that you've privately given to "gank victims" of the New Order- Specifically, I'm waiting for you to dress up in your blonde wig, call yourself "Elsa," and start singing "Let it go" again.

      Those tears were priceless.

    10. Well at least we will get one more good laugh when James lists the top ten fools of the month, especially since ming will be number 1 in that. Kinda sad for ming that being the fool is the only thing he is good at. Well that and being a care bear :-)

    1. I'm not sure I do have it figured out. What's the "s" for? Is it like the miners who call us "f*ggots" and "n*ggers", as if replacing one letter with an asterisks makes their language less offensive?

      Delete
    2. Possibly habits picked from from places with censors that blot out the entire word if they detect an offensive term. By knocking out one letter, you bypass the filter but people will still know what you said.

Another possibility I can think of is that it lets them think they haven't actually done wrong because technically they didn't type a bigoted term, even though they're using it in that way.

      Delete
    3. because his mother has the child safety locks on his computer so he had to learn how to be offensive in spite of that.
The mis-spelling of YOU'RE in his bio does much to explain the reading level this care bear is at. Along with the repetition of the same insult over and over....one that is clearly not his own invention....he heard it, thinks it's appropriately harsh, and then goes on to spam it rather than come up with something original.

      Delete
  5. I was guessing it means "smelly", which also explains the "yeasty." I guess mining gives you plenty of time to brainstorm smacktalk.

  8. There has been so many loud mouth smack talkers in local that accomplish nothing beyond getting their corp-mates blown up, it's about time for it's own block on Miner Bingo.
Notice these people are never the leaders of any corp or alliance. Always some peon. Also notice they are almost universally ejected from their corp after their trash talk costs their corp a couple billion in losses.

    1. Ooh there's a good version of corp sabotage right there; join a corp, smack talk in Marmite's home system, invite in the war decs then destroy your corp's morale by telling everyone how they have no hope of winning the war and that they are doomed. Encourage the miners to drop corp to duck the wardec and so they can keep on mining, then log onto a ganking alt and pop them. Then reveal to the CEO what you did.

Sounds like a good trick to add to the repertoire!

Carebears are vile, nasty scum. I bet they act the same way in real life. I mean thats the thing right? If you act a certain way ingame then thats how you act in RL, at least thats what all the anti-gankers say.
So that must mean all the carebears i encounter are really petty little nasty twats in RL.
And whoever playes Veers is the most special of them all.

There's my Canadian girlfriend, who's hot and sexy and totally real, who lives in Vancouver and sucks like a Hoover. And there are all my in-game friends and supporters, who though they never speak or say anything are completely real and I have soooo many of them.

Oh yeah, and grinding incursions for 10+ hours at a time because despite being soooo rich and powerful and actually employed, I can't afford the <$15/mo for my account and have to work for less than minimum wage in-game to make that money.

PS: I miss DJ so much....you idiots.

  12. What an interesting group of pirates you guys are. I had my first encounter with one of your villains last night when my venture was ganked.

My friend mentioned that you guys are alpha douche-bags and after I read a couple hours of this narcissistic self-congratulations you call a website, I have to admit he was right.
It appears that you guys have a strong tendency toward hypocrisy since you say you offer mining permits and yet I was never communicated to about anything of the sort.

I hate bullies, but they do make excellent targets. So I am going to make it my life long mission to destroy you.

      LOL
I hope that is not your ingame name. If it is then prepare yourself, you will soon experience what EvE is really about.
Next time just remember that shitposting about revenge is looked upon as childish, and an open invitation to for everyone to troll you incessantly.
Oh and, there are no bullies in EvE. The people you are refering to are just playing EvE the way it was intended to be played. Bullying does not exist when the bullied can just ignore the ganker, and log off.
Peolple that are bullied IRL do not have that option, so do not belittle their plight with your mindless drivel about people playing a game.
In fact, you should have posted a hearty thanks to the people that ganked you. They exposed you to the real EvE, and according to recent studies by CCP, you are more likely to continue playing the game now that you have had some meaningful interaction with real players.
Your 'friend' that warned you about CODE , his only positive contribution was to direct you here.
Now you should try to help him out by taking a catalyst and ganking him, introducing him to the real EvE.
Or just GTFO now and leave EvE to adults that know how to seperate the gane from real life.
      Your call

wrong code plays the game the way THEY want it to be played.
although i agree high sec is not meant to be "safe".
while i agree code may not be bullies they are not however a beacon of light in high sec (despite what james thinks) they are despised by some, hated by many, and ignored by most (high sec is tiny after all)
