More Inspiring Visions

Today we've got a double feature for you, as two different Agents submitted artwork to help communicate their feelings about what the New Order means to them. First up, a piece by Collin Dow, who's done art for us in the past:

All true, the New Order does need those things. The more we've got, the more people in highsec benefit. Next, we've got a helpful flowchart from Galaxy Pig, who has also contributed art to us in the past. So many miners ask us how they can avoid dying. Let Galaxy's paintbrush explain:

As you can see, a mining permit cures all ills. If you're a miner, how comforting would it be to know that you're in compliance with the Code and not at risk of gank? Pretty comforting, I'd imagine.

  2. Anyone know what tank that is? At first I thought it looked like a Matilda, but I don't think it can carry a gun that large.

  3. Hehe, that is indeed crab nicholson extreme, the best kind of miner there is, the kind that stops mining and starts killing other miners.

I made this user-friendly flow-chart in response to the recent habit of forum-carebears to insist that we are somehow unfairly selective in our destruction of code-violators. The theories vary in degree of tinfoil required to understand them, but seem to mostly chalk us up as part of ~the goonspiracy~ . I wanted to show how streamlined the target-acquisition process really is, as well as demonstrate how all illegal miners are equal in the eyes of the Code.

Collin's piece is greatness, I love me some North Korea-style propaganda! Hope to see more.

    1. Actually, shiny ships are mostly produced from sources other than asteroid mining. T2 ships mainly from moon minerals, T3 from WH sites, pirate/navy faction ships from mission running or FW. The only T1 ships that one would always call shiny would be supercaps. A shiny carrier or dread is worth more in modules than in hull, and those modules come from plex runners not miners.
