New Permit, New Code, New Life!

Another fine day in Abudban system, but not everyone welcomed our change.

Taikos had an immediate dislike for the New Order.

It's always a troubling sign when someone is troubled by the joy of the New Order. Why begrudge the happiness of others, when that happiness is rooted in the Code? Much better to join the joy.

At first blush, Taikos might look like just another rebel miner who would "never" join us.

It would be easy to dismiss such a person. To give up.

But that's not the New Order's way. We have a "no miner left behind" policy.

The next day, Taikos reappeared in Abudban.

His countenance was dramatically different. Could it be?

Taikos had undergone radical change; he was a new man. What makes such a transformation possible?

It's the power of the New Order. We do the impossible in highsec every day!

Imagine if every last rebel miner in highsec experienced the same change of heart that Taikos did? Some people say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

After his initial resistance, Taikos' pledge of loyalty is a sight for sore eyes. And your eyes will get sore if you look at that blue-on-black text for very long. Still, it's a thing of beauty. Can anyone in highsec stop a movement that possesses power such as this?

  1. There's no holy power, you asked a guy to play a role and it worked great. Lol.

    1. The word "holy" was used nowhere in this article, and yet you specifically argue against it here. This seems like a Freudian Slip, meaning you actually do believe the New Order has holy righteousness, but don't want to admit it.

    2. Bonus points for the Freudian argument, that was honestly clever. I use the word "Holy" to describe what I see as a Cultist-Roleplaying esque group. No Freudian slips :P

    3. So...what? If you define the word "holy" to describe what you see as a Cultist-Roleplaying-esque group, then when you said "there's no holy power", you're implying that a group existed and got someone to do something, but the group doesn't exist and the someone who did something doesn't exist and neither does the thing he did? You might want to ask the college you claim you're a full time student at for a full-time refund.

    4. Erm... actually no. I'm claiming that said guy didn't really oppose the Order, but instead, was with them from the start, and simply went along with what you guys told him to make a very warm and fuzzy, inspiring story.

I mean, who doesn't love a story about a defiant, rebel miner, opposing the noble Order who then sees the error of his ways! HE sees the light, and turns his video gaming life anew!

      I mean really.

I love how you guys argue in either FAR extreme's, or nothing, or with Straw man arguments. Perhaps you should invest in college. Perhaps a quality English course, or journalism.

    5. Putting on the tinfoil hat, that's one way to end the discussion.

    6. Yes, because asking somebody to act a role is totally impossible. Nobody would ever think of that! Ever! Right?

I'm not saying It's 100% true, I could be wrong, but you're a fool if you think discussions can't staged for the sake of good publicity.

    7. Kid, you're embarrassing yourself. Trying to pretend that we're the side arguing in extremes, but look at what you're writing: "Yes, because asking somebody to act a role is totally impossible. Nobody would ever think of that! Ever! Right?"

"totally impossible" Multiple exclamation points. "Nobody ...ever!" You're screaming like a little girl there, and it's not even about something relevant. You're still tinfoil hatting, and that screaming paragraph has nothing to do with anything I said. Try again when you're older.

    8. Wow, so now we have to fabricate our own stories? Nathaniel, have you even EVER been in local where there is New Order presence?

And why does enthusiasm have to be religious? Stop being a kneejerking hipster.

    9. You should also talk to crab about his transmorgrificationthingymabob. But hey, don't take MY word for it. Take his. Or just read about it over there on the left. It's one of those blog entries from a few weeks back. Or visit the system. He hangs out there. To mine. Not to bump.

  2. @ Nathanial, if what you are suggesting is true, welcome to politics and religion, where nothing is as it seems.

As for a quality college course, thanks but I've been there and done that, quite probably before you were a twinkle in your fathers eye. As for journalism? don't make me laugh that's almost as good as a degree in media studies.

I even speak proper English, as spoken in England, not that derivative the Americans call English

    1. I don't believe I told YOU to get an education. Way to take hostility from a comment directed at somebody else.

The journalism remark was just for shits and giggles, I wouldn't recommend anyone take that as a major or a minor. It was just a sarcastic joke.

    2. Your comment specifically included the phrase "you guys", inferring that it was addressed to all and sundry. I was merely replying that I , as a member of the group your comment appeared to be aimed at, do indeed have a university level education.

    3. Well my bad for sloppy writing then, I thought I separated it well enough, but I suppose I didn't.

The college comment was only aimed at him, as he attacked my full-time college position, no offense was meant to anyone else (unless they commented on said position as well)

    4. @Casa I don't care if you speak English, either speak proper 'merican or GTFO of my country.

    1. You can verify Taikos' bio in-game if you like. JPG's just really, really don't like that shade of blue on black.

    2. Or you could think before you speak.

He thinks that being unable to masturbate because you're having sex with other people is a problem. That is just odd.
